After experiencing photoshop, now is time to work with Illustrator.After a few hours of playing around with the tool, I start to like this program more than photoshop. guess it was because the project is now about making posters.
i choose to make
A poster about my first art teacher in taiwan. His name is Yan Fu.
He currently owns a gallery with a couple artists together and host shows occationally. the poster i made is one of the show they had last year-(though i put in the recently date instead of the actually date). it was a exhibition of a numerous artists in that group painting about the neighborhood, family or landscape scenes of my hometown. one thing to mention, my mother is also in that group, but sadly she wasn’t presenting any works in that show.
since the gallery was named in chinese, and they dont really have a logo. i just made them all in english and also made a logo for it. though there ’s not much progress to show because i basically just scanned image, fixed in photoshop then the rest of the layouts are easily done by illustrator tool.
